I'm an attorney at Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns, LLP. Our firm has offices in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater, Florida. My practice focusses on the representation of closely-held businesses in their transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and succession planning. I bring to my representation of clients more than 30 years of experience in planning and negotiating business transactions. I started this website in 2011 as a way to have a more personal web presence than is generally possible in a firm website. After the first few years, my day job took priority over maintaining my personal website, so that much of the initial content had become stale. The onset of the coronavirus pandemic, with social distancing and working remotely, provided me with an opportunity to refresh and update this website. I hope that you find the content to be interesting and useful as, together, we get through these challenging times.
